Transformers: Age of Extinction Review

Robots have always fascinated me; so when every Transformers movie comes into theaters, I have to see it with the huge surround sound of the movie theaters. With the sound, I feel in the action of the movie. Although, people may think that all the action will get old; I don't think it ever does. The plot was a breath of fresh air, because it followed a different family's adventure. It kept you interested with all the action; yet sometimes it could have been better.

The new characters in the plot that included Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor helped the franchise with a new direction that didn't include Shia Labeof's saga. Although, it would have been nice if they at least mentioned the past events other than the chaos that was in Chicago in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Of course, there were similar aspects to both sets of characters as in an attractive girl, a lead action actor, Megatron being the villain, Optimus Prime, and a young love relationship within all the action. The couple of complaints I had with the plot was that they killed off a character way too early, I didn't feel attached to any of the characters except Mark Wahlberg's, and it was a long movie.
In my opinion, Transformers: Age of Extinction had great action that made it one of my favorite of the Transformers movies. If you get the chance you should see this movie in surround sound so you can receive the full effect of what the movie has to offer.

Plot: 7.0/10
Action: 9.5/10
Interest: 9.0/10
